For the week of 10/24/18 we presented our Presentation 2 to the class. We got some well needed feedback for what we can improve on as well as a better idea of what we need to accomplish. We need to converse with the guideway team to make sure our canopy can integrate well with theirs. One big aspect is how we will connect multiple parts of the canopy together and as a team we need to come together to figure that out. It has taken a while for our team to form the correct chemistry to effectively work together but I believe we are finally starting to go down the right track. -Francisco Trejo

For the week of 10/17/18 we were able to start constructing our powerpoint for presentation number 2. We looked over the comments left from presentation 1 and discussed n how we can further address those issues and improve. Further development for the CAD models are under way and expect to have 2/3 different designs by Oct 31. Weekly zoom meetings are proving to be very beneficial on top of meeting on wednesdays so we will continue to keep that up as the semester goes by. -Francisco Trejo

For the week of 10/10/18 we continued to work on our assigned tasks, working to meet the requirements of the second presentation which is coming up soon. Further improvements on the gantt chart were done as well as cooperative work done on the CAD files. -Francisco Trejo

For the week of 10/3/18 we had a meeting with Professor Furman and Ron Swenson about some possible designs and different forms of fabricating our solar canopy. We also spoke to Brad Diaz who was interested in helping out with the solar team. Thanks to this very helpful meeting we now have a better idea of the overall goal and some challenges we will be facing in the weeks to come. -Francisco Trejo

For the week of 9/26/2018 we presented our presentations to the class and got some well needed feedback on not only our presentation but also what aspects to look at for our overall project. We also got together and established a better itinerary that we can follow and are going to stay on top of our things much more frequently. -Francisco Trejo

For the week of 9/19/2018 we talked about coming up with an itinerary that we could follow more closely to avoid doing things last minute. I unfortunately have personal matters to attend to that week and was not able to meet physically with my group but constant communication over messages were done. -Francisco Trejo

For the week of 9/12/2018 we were tasked to come up with more tangible parameters and have actual numbers with which we can present for next week. Better delegation of roles and tasks were assigned for our team. Further research and continued progress on our project is expected for the upcoming week. -Francisco Trejo
